Modern Amazons Documentary Film Series

“Modern Amazons” is a community remembrance project that aims to celebrate important historical women from Greece by telling their stories on film. The goal of the series is to bring to the forefront the important contributions that modern Greek women have made to history, and to preserve, collect, and interpret their lives in the context of the time and place in which they lived.
